Bridges to Growth Parent Resource Center (The Georgetown Project) – A parent/childcare provider resource center offering developmentally appropriate pre-school toys, books, parenting books in its lending library. Conducts regular parenting classes and childcare provider training. Developmental activities are also offered for toddlers twice a month. Periodically offers creative arts and crafts or drama events for pre-school and elementary age children. Community Action, Inc. Rural Aids Services Program (RASP) – Provides case management for HIV positive individuals in Bastrop, Blanco, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Lee, and Williamson counties. Case management services offered are: linkage with medical providers, assistance with locating appropriate service providers based on needs assessment, linkage with the Texas HIV Medication Program, limited financial assistance may be available. Transportation to medical and dental appointments may be available for clients who have barriers to transportation or for clients who may be too ill to drive. 512-931-2471 Donna Johnson

Court Appointed Special Advocates– CASA of Williamson County – Volunteers are trained to be advocates for children in the court system and assigned to cases by Williamson County judges. Begun October 2009, volunteers currently serve 75 children. Training and recruitment for CASA volunteers is ongoing. 512-868-2822

Faith in Action Georgetown – Provides volunteer transportation and a variety of support services to seniors in Georgetown so that they can remain independent and in their own homes. Transportation is provided for medical appointments, grocery shopping, and community services. 512-868-9544 Vickie Orcutt

Family Eldercare – Provides caring, professional services for seniors and caregivers in Williamson County including In-Home Care and Caregiver Services, Geriatric Consultation, Service Coordination, Money Management and Guardianship. Services are available on a sliding fee scale based on income. 512-450-0844

Goodwill Industries of Central Texas Job Help Center – Goodwill Industries of Central Texas Job Help Center-offer Case Management and Job Search assistance to eligible job seekers. Provide related training (interview skills, applications skills, computer, job search planning and financial literacy) job leads and support services. The Care Communities – Provides volunteer families/Care Teams for persons living with HIV/AIDS or cancer. The Care Team consists of three to six persons matched with a client and providing practical and emotional support, such as running errands, transportation to medical appointments, food bank, grocery store, yard work, companionship, etc. To volunteer, contact Mary Hearon at mary@thecarecommunities.org.

The Christi Center – Offers free grief support services for children, teens, and adults who are adjusting to life after the death of a loved one and provide education and crisis intervention for community organizations. 512-591-7440 Erin Spalding

Wonders & Worries – Serves children ages 2-18 who have a parent or caregiver with a serious illness. We work with children and their families to provide an age-appropriate understanding of the illness. 512-329-5757 Kim Fryar, Program Director
