Bridges to Growth Parent Resource Center (The Georgetown Project) – A parent/childcare provider resource center offering developmentally appropriate pre-school toys, books, parenting books in its lending library. Conducts regular parenting classes and childcare provider training. Developmental activities are also offered for toddlers twice a month. Periodically offers creative arts and crafts or drama events for pre-school and elementary age children. Community Action, Inc. Rural Aids Services Program (RASP) – Provides case management for HIV positive individuals in Bastrop, Blanco, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Lee, and Williamson counties. Case management services offered are: linkage with medical providers, assistance with locating appropriate service providers based on needs assessment, linkage with the Texas HIV Medication Program, limited financial assistance may be available. Family Eldercare – Provides caring, professional services for seniors and caregivers in Williamson County including In-Home Care and Caregiver Services, Geriatric Consultation, Service Coordination, Money Management and Guardianship. Literacy Council WILCO – Provides GED prep classes, Adult Basic Education, English as a Second Language, and vocational training for adults 18 years and older. Seventeen year olds must have withdrawal papers form high schools and a guardian signature. Many of our classes are $25 per year/session, but we never turn anyone away for the inability to pay. Vocational classes are always free of charge for students. We offer GED scholarships to help cover the cost of exams. Texas Baptist Children’s Home (TBCH) – Hope Program – The HOPE Program partners with churches, social service agencies, and the community to provide no-cost trauma-informed counseling to individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children by Licensed Counselors and TBRI® Practitioners; parent education highlighting the need for a delicate balance of structure and nurturing, aftercare services, and community outreach, at an accessible location for Georgetown-based clients.
