Grantmaking

Georgetown Health Foundation’s grantmaking is focused on its strategic initiatives and priorities:

  • Healthy Living

Focus on health care and health promotion for children, youth, elders, and families who are low-income and/or have significant need.

  • Support community access to affordable, quality health care.
  • Increase access to mental and behavioral health care.
  • Encourage health promotion programs.

  • Healthy Community

Focus on sustaining and strengthening safety net services for children, youth, elders, and families who are low-income and/or have significant need.

  • Sustain and enhance basic needs services, including:
    • Food Insecurity;
    • Emergency Financial Assistance;
    • Housing.
  • Support emergency shelter initiatives for youth.
  • Increase access to affordable, quality child care and out-of-school care.
