UT Austin’s Institute for Urban Policy Research & Analysis (IUPRA) presented their updated research findings conducted Jan-Aug 2019 on November 13, 2019 at the Georgetown Public Library. The research was designed to update GHF’s 2015 Southeast Georgetown Needs Assessment: Documenting Resident Stories & Community Conditions in order to:
- Determine whether the original “Top 10” Critical Needs identified in the 2015 Needs Assessment are still our top needs today;
- Learn if the efforts made over the last 4 years to address the 2015 findings have made a difference to community members;
- Identify any new or emerging issues that community members would like us to work on.
