Ben came to Georgetown in 2002 to attend Southwestern University. After graduating with a degree in physics, he went to work for a local civil engineering firm designing and managing public transportation projects. In 2016 he formed Open Road Network Services, a Georgetown-based business providing honest, reliable, and affordable technology support to individuals and small businesses.

Ben enjoys serving in the community and has held or is currently holding leadership positions with First United Methodist Church, the Texas Methodist Foundation, Boy Scout Troop 151, The Wesleyan Homes, the Southwestern University Alumni Association, and Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

Ben’s wife, Jennifer, is an educator and together they have two elementary-aged children.
